We sat down with Jeremy Vaughan, the Co-Founder of the Factory – a startup incubator and accelerator based in St. Augustine FL. Jeremy spoke a little about the whole process and the logistics behind starting an incubator and the tremendous challenge it presents. We touched a little bit on Jeremy’s company, feature[23] and their projects. Finally, we ended with a discussion about One Spark. One Spark is a five-day event – April 17 – 21, 2013 - where creators showcase their products, ideas and creations. The attendees then vote on their favorite ideas, with the votes determining the percent of a $250 thousand pot fund to each creator. We didn’t touch on it in the Hangout, but Jeremy is also playing a big part in the upcoming – January 25-27, 2013 – Jacksonville Startup Weekend. There are some big things happening in Florida.
