One of the more interesting projects that we came across at One Spark 2014 was Two Way Resume. The main idea behind Two Way Resume is that paper, black-and-white resumes are both dull and incomplete. Essentially, Two Way Resume is an update to the paper resume. Using the platform, users can transform the paper resume into a more complete, online resume/website.

More-or-less, Two Way Resume is a mixture between About.me, Wix  and other turnkey website builders, and LinkedIn. What that means is, Two Way Resume combines the incredibly simple setup of About.me, the easy turnkey editing of Wix, and the robust information that is found within LinkedIn profile.

Two Way Resume is much, much more than an online resume. The platform gives you a place to combine your work portfolio, your blog, and your resume. What’s more, when you sign up with Two Way Resume, the service allows you to create your own custom domain name.

Two Way Resume is a unique service that allows you to create your personal, individualized resume & portfolio website to market yourself to prospective employers. It comes complete with your own custom domain name (yourname.com) so you won’t be stuck giving employers, “checkout my work at http://random.com/87sdhjsdg”.1

Two Way Resume offers a simple, easy to set-up personal resume/portfolio/blog website. The website functions just like any other website, complete with a simple to use back-end editor and a robust dashboard that contains detailed analytics. Though, currently the platform does not allow the ability to edit the code, Cabe Nolan, the founder of the company, told us that that is in the works. This is really a great website building resource for those less tech-savvy to create beautiful personal websites.

We had a chance to speak with Cabe Nolan, the founder of Two Way Resume, during One Spark. He told us a bit more about the platform, and the idea behind its creation:
